Ok, I forgot there was a setting for it. I rarely create a new flight because I always pick up from where I left off. Go into your settings, and you should see an option to use system or flight time.

It's in OPTIONS -> SETTINGS -> GENERAL.

Or you can save your default flight at the time you would like to take off at.

Cheers,

FS9 does start with your PC's time but at the default airport. Therefore, if it loads at KSEA and then you change to EGLL, the time will be out.

I set my default flight to be a saved flight from my home airport (KMHT) at my local system time.  Other saved flights are saved at the time that they were flown.  There isn't a place to indicate whether a saved flight should resume at system time or the time it was originally saved at.  The only thing I can figure out is when you save a flight at a certain time/date, if that time/date is close enough to your system time/date then the game assumes you want to resume at your system time/date and if it's totally different then it resumes at the original time/date.

I had to save and re-save three or four times to get it working right and now it's not right again.  Guess I'll have to go back in and re-create the flight.  What a pain...

TomTom, get in that thing and fly to Innsbruck, then to Torino for the Olympics.  Getting out of the UK once in  a while will be great fun for you.  After you've got your feet wet doing that.  fly trans-Atlantic and pay me a visit in Denver, then fly home, via Canada and Iceland, and Ireland -- maybe in Amelia Earhart's Vega.  you'll love it.
