Opensky wingtip lights - floating in space

Postby highfive » Fri Feb 03, 2006 1:51 am

I have a minor issue with my Opensky B747-400 wingtip strobe lights :P. They appear about 10 feet above where they belong. Could someone be so kind as to tell me the correct line & coordinate #'s in the aircraft.cfg ???. It would save me a lot time doing it by trial & error :-/. Thanks

There is all you need. Just get the correct files for the engine type (as they are all different)
Russian planes: IL-76 (all standard length ones),  Tu-154 and Il-62, Tu-134 and [url=http://an24.uw.hu/]An-24RV[/ur

Hi Highfive........Here is part of the Aircraft .cfg  Lights section of my Posky 747 400 .....

[LIGHTS]
//Types: 1=beacon, 2=strobe, 3=navigation, 4=cockpit, 5=landing
light.0 = 1,   65.200,    0.600,  19.100,  Opensky_beacon ,
light.1 = 1,   13.500,    0.000,  -7.080,  Opensky_beacon ,
light.2 = 2,  -49.000, -102.900,  6.150,  fx_strobeh ,
light.3 = 2,  -49.000,  102.900,  6.150,  fx_strobeh ,

..the last number on the bottom two lines are what you want (fx_strobeh) I made mine as you can see  6.15 when originally they were 13.15 I think...........change yours to 6.15 and if they need more adjustment then experiment............commoner
