X45 rotator Axis

My Saitek x45 can't use properly their two rotational knob in fs9!javascript:huh()
Huh
i've assigned the two axes to the pitch trim and to the propeller, the configuration page let me set them fine, but in the flight only the Rotator 1 work and only in a restricted range of the trim setting,
the other one isn't working at all, whatever axis I assign to it..
The joystick work very well in other sim (lock on, il2..), so I presume is a FS9 problem!javascript:cry()
cry

Any IDEA? ???

Make sure that whatever key stroke you are wanting, to set the key repeat bar to max.
Also are you using Saitek's own configuration software. Try using Windows default. Go to gameware setup and select your X45 as a generic multi axis joystick. You will get the a config screen that will let you calibrate all axis and buttons. I did have an X45 before I went "CH". I had mine set up as a multi generic stick to use all rotors. Sorry I can't be more helpful, it was some time ago.

I too have an X45. I cannot use the 2 rotate knobs on the throttle either. I have tried to set them up, but only 1 will partially work as elevator trim and then gives me a different view in reverse. What I did was assign all trim controls to the top left "top hat". I ignore the 2 rotators on the throttle.

I found that to get this to work it is nessary to go to the controls sensitivity settings in the sim and set the sensitivity to full, MS in their infinite wisdom chose to set all unusual axes sensitivity to zero.

WHOOHOO!!! Excellent it works!!

-> Elev Trim now 100% responsive for Rotary 2.
-> Mixture 100% responsive for rotary 1!

Damn, I never knew how realistic it was to fly with the mixture set to a rotary knob! You get instantaneous readings back on RPM for every little adjustment you make on the joystick and you can do it soooo damn precisely... wow, its amazing, it becomes so much easier and more realistic!

Even though this isnt my thread, thanks LOADS!!  ;D ;)

Haha, I knew it was your sensitivity settings- I forget about that every time I have to delete the .cfg and reset everything... :D
I like to use one rotary for mixture, the other for prop rpm, and use the little hat button on front of the throttle for trim, but to each his own...
