Good (Free) Downloads

Ok, I am sure that there have already been topics about this, but I really do not have the time to go searching through all 400+ pages of threads. Plus, the other threads are most likely outdated. So, I am asking for suggestions from everyone for freeware downloads that are worth downloading. I have a few requirements, such as Full VC, Sound, Non-aliased panel, and of course great textures inside and out. I have downloaded many planes, and many of them I found to be very dissappointing. So if anyone has downloaded a plane (again, I am asking for freeware here), and it has the same qualities (or better) of the default FS9 aircraft, help me out please.
Thanks!

I have recently downloaded the B.29 Superfortrees from the Vintage section of this site and it is fantastic, including a download that doesn't mean shifting files all over the place. It is like a whale in the sky. Also very good (for me) is the Hercules C.130 from Simshed.
If you like big aircraft try them.

I was going to suggest that thread as well but good old ozzy beat me too it! Well worth taking the time to read the whole thread, there are some gems on there.
My personal reccomendation, David Maltby's classic airliners.
www.dmflightsim.co.ukFor free, you really can't get better. The Trident and BAC 1-11 have the most superb VC's and the sounds will blow your speakers!
For something more upto date, the 747 from iFly can't be beat (can be downloaded here at SimV). The only think that does beat it as a modern jetliner is the PMDG 747 and that costs $50!!

I think you've got the question around the wrong way. If you ask me I'll recommend the Feiseler Storch or the little BD-5J because they're so much fun to fly. Ask someone else and you'll get an Airbus or the AN-225. There are widely varying tastes around here, and what is 'best' to one pilot is meaningless to another.
Better to decide what sort of thing you like flying - Spitfire, Concorde, DG300 or Skyseeker? - and use the search function to see what is available for your chosen plane.

Well, that is why I asked suggestions from EVERYONE, so that I get a lot of different pilots' views and suggestions, I am an all-around flier, I enjoy using any types of aircraft and therefore will be happy with any download that has great graphics and Full VC with sound, as I stated above

The Aeroplane Heaven Spitfire (link on the front page) is a must have if you like warbirds

Also ANYTHING by Rick Piper is AWESOME! I personally love his Chipmunk but that is 'cos I learnt to fly on one as an Air Cadet many years ago

The early models of "Seafire" were actually called the Sea Spitfire, then the name got merged/bastardised
