F-16 re deux

Postby fscory » Thu Jan 19, 2006 3:36 pm

Many thanks for those of you who responded to my F-16 query.  I have taken the majority advice and loaded Karl Olsson's download and Marciano's special panel.  I printed the directions for installation and to the best of my ability, followed them.  That must be the key, my ability...because the first screen is black with exception of radar screen some light switches.  Sound is good.  The virtual cockpit is okay but leaves a lot to desired.  Where did I goof??  I know it's my fault...but I sure can use some help.  Thanks

If the gauges were in a .CAB file and you unzipped them into your fs gauge folder that would cause this problem. any gauges in a .CAB file must stay there and the entire folder put in the gauge folder. I do not have this air plane so I am just gussing here.
If you unzipped directly into your fs folder you might have created a second gauge folder if so just drag the contents into the main gauge folder and delete the other gauge folder.
As a rule of thumb it is not wise to unzip aircraft or scenery directly into FS. 8)
