Hi guys recently i reinstalled my fs9 and applied the 9.1 patch and everything was runing right but then i started to get a weird error message on start up, it is about panel.dll. Does anyone else had this problem and perhaps have a solution. Also while i at it i have a question 2 : do i need to install the 9.1 patch to enjoy add-ons such as vista australia or planes from simviation?Or can i skip the patch?

I do not use the patch and have had no problems with addons, But I do not see where the patch would cause the problems you are having as for the most part the patch just added missing bridges in FS. Try checking the last addon you installed the problem is more than likely there. A missing or corupt file could cause this. 8)

This might be the cause of the problem.

actually if you look at the installation the patch replaces the panel.dll so i quess i won't really use the patch anymore as i'm not playing online so i don't think i even need it. But another question: if for instance i design an aircraft and test it on 9.0 version of fs9 will it work on 9.1?

I haven't studied the relevant SDKs but I see no reason why the update would affect the aircraft. I've seen no 3rd party aircraft posted anywhere that states "for use with FS9.1 Update Only".
