If you have 3wire and are using that to launch, just jack up all the numbers, and you'll go faster.  Also, make sure you have a JET, also make sure that you're on a real carrier.  and just practice.

How about a bit of info like:

a) What program are using for the launch?

b) What location/aircraft carrier are using?

c) What plane are you using?

Okay Soul..

I can't tell how to get your program working, but what you CAN do, is the following:

1. Download the program '3Wire', and install it in to a folder of your choice.

2. Download the carrier package accvall3.zip from avsim.net. (Search accvall3.zip)

3. Unzip the package.

4. Add the carriers in your scenery library.

5. Minimize FS2004, and start 3Wire.

6. Maximize Fs2004, create flight. When you choose destination, go to Add-on scenery, and choose one of the carriers.

7. Taxi to one of the catapults.

8. Apply parking-brake (CTRL+.), and press SHIFT+F9.

9. Apply full throttle, and release your parking brake.

Hope it helped!! ;)

If you did follow my instructions, your F-18 should accelerate from 0 to 130 knots in about 1.7 seconds, wich is how it is in real life, and that should be enough.

But if you want to increase it, you can do that in 3Wire.
