Lost default airports...

Hi, was wondering if anyone might know about this...

I've lost all my nice MS default "high quality" airports in FS2004. I just have flat land where they used to stand - San Francisco, Sydney etc, all gone :'(

To explain what happened...

It's my fault they're gone - I installed Golden Wings over my normal FS9 because I couldn't make my GW FS9 version work.... this was before Silver Wings...

Now my GW version suddenly works and I've uninstalled GW textures, somehow, but the airports and seemingly much of whole cities are missing...

Does anyone know where these files 'live'? I've tried reinstalling, eg. San Francisco, from the disc, but the airport still isn't there....

Any help for this Sorry Fool much appreciated :)

Regards

Krigl

The easiest way to find that out is to run the GW3 Install again, but first create a dummy folder to install to, for example- ....\'FS_Dummy'\.

Thanks Dave3cu, for your detailed answer, I'll give it a shot!

I'm now getting icebergs appearing in all my cities, however, and I think it's about time for a full reinstall...
