OK, I don't use it much but I do sometimes when i'm on multiplayer to save frames. Anyway, somehow the first two CRT displays have become misaligned, overlapping the surround,

Any idea how this happened or how to fix?

Have you played with the panel.cfg file?
Thats the file that places all of the gauges in their proper locations.
This is what that particular section should look like...
gauge10=KM744!Multi-Function Display, 373,450,206,209
gauge11=KM744!Primary Flight Display, 161,451,208,207
If not just copy and paste these two lines into your panel.cfg file and that should correct the problem.

Are you sure they're the right ones? They look like 3D coordinates to me. This is what the PFD and MFD are at the moment in my 747 Panel.cfg
gauge11=Boeing747-400!Primary Flight Display, 1, 126
gauge12=Boeing747-400!Multi-Function Display, 175, 126

They sound correct to me. You should also be able to click and drag the panels to where they belong, of course this will not fix the problem.
Another way to fix this is to unzip the gameone.cab file on disk one, put it in a temporary folder not the main FS folder. Then just copy the default B747 folder to your FS folder and over write.

I'm sure the numbers you've got there must be for the VC as the guage numbers and titles are different as well. Thanks for the help though, you have helped my identify the location of these guages so i'll have a play with the numbers.

Sorted! The numbers are indeed X and Y co-ordinates for the 2D panel. This is what it should look like,
gauge11=Boeing747-400!Primary Flight Display, 14, 142
gauge12=Boeing747-400!Multi-Function Display, 175, 142
Strange thing is, i've got a full backup copy of FS9 on my PC so I can just copy from default folders when things go wrong but it was like this in there as well!

Chalk it up to the ghosts

They like to mess with my system as well.
