Also there is a freeware program called CFGEDIT that makes adding gauges a snap. It will not handle XML gauges though If you want to do that you have to purchase the payware version called FS Panel Studio
It is a souped up version of cfgedit.
It is great for adding new windows or gauges. and it takes all of the guess work out of it as you drag the new gauge exactly where you want it save the file and you got it.
