Postby Stormtropper » Sat Dec 24, 2005 9:02 pm

...just as the subject says...

...the only changes I made since the last startup is the Alphasim F-117, IRIS Tornado, and a new graphics card...

...any ideas?

Try deleting your fs9.cfg. make a back-up first of course just in case that isn't the problem. I'm no expert by any means, but I'm think that maybe FS is trying to run the drivers for you old video card because it says to in the cfg. Again, I'm no expert, and it might nt even work that way.

In 100% of the cases when my sim refused to start deleting the fs9.cfg fixed the problem. Your mileage may vary but that's what I've experienced. What I do is keep a copy of the .cfg with all my settings and if the file gets corrupted I replace it with my backup copy (once all your settings are to your liking and the file works then copy and save the file as Fs9.cfg_Backup). That way you don't even have to reset anything. Just delete the currupt file, drop in backup, rename and go. Remember however that after any changes in the sim like new key assignments you will have to make a fresh backup file.
