In Flight Internet Anyone?

Here's an interesting add-on that allows you to browse the internet (html) while in flight using your kneeboard. Google to find an appropriate download site..Have fun!

EXAMPLE SETUP AND QUICK GUIDE:

(Save old ref or overwrite existing one)

Copy the enclosed Reference file to your default Cessna 182. Start FS, select the Cessna 182, call up the Kneeboard (F10), go to the Reference page (lowermost button) and follow instructions on the kneeboard. Use mouse to click URL's of course and do not forget to fly the plane!

Aye, before I run off to download this, I'm wondering if you can directly type a URL in?  Or is it a set site you have to go to (like SimV here).

.In the main Aircraft folder..look for an HTML file called kneeboard_keys......(make a backup copy as usual) then open the file and right click anywhere and choose View Source....at the bottom, add this line..........

GOOGLE

...close the file and YES to save the changes......this will then show a link to Google on the Key Commands page of the Kneeboard.

You can add any url to the list in the same way and the links will appear on the kneeboard.........for example I have  one to FS charts...like this....
FS CHARTS.

Make sure you type this without typos or it won't work...

Commoner ....Have fun but it should go without saying you have to be online ;D ;D ;D
