you have to make sure you save it to a proper area.  IF you are editing, make sure that you save to the exact place it was.  Or, save it in addon scenery/scenery.

BTW, this belongs in the AFCAD and TTOOLS forum ;)

sorry; I thought you thought you'd posted inthe other forum... just bustin'.
All I can suggest is that you try it again, and triple-check where it's going when you save it.

If you're certain the new BGL is in the correct location - Addon Scenery\Scenery - make sure that:

1. You exit & restart FS9 for the new scenery to be recognised. You should get the usual warning that the scenery database is being updated when it's starting up.

2. There is no other BGL file already installed & activated that could possibly conflict with the new one.

3. The Addon Scenery folder is activated in the Scenery Library & you didn't delete it by mistake. This is quite common.

Specifically, which AF2 edits did you make? Adding parking spots or adding tarmac will be handled differently by any installed addon scenery which may be active at said airport.

D/l and install a utility (not found at SimV) named ScanAFD which will find duplicate AF2 files; you may not be editing the active AF2 files.
