could we see a screenshot of that? ::)

as an early guess, i'd say it must have something to do with your cloud textures...

have you installed any different clouds recently?

if not, you could try and download one of the many addon cloud packs out there (i don't recall any right now but try doing a search for it) and maybe that will replace your apparently missing cloud textures and hopefully take care of the problem for ya ;)

but that's just a blind guess, if i could see what this bizarreness looks like i'd be able to tell you better ::)

could be a hardware issue, but let's not go there right now

Moach to the rescue ;D ;D

cheers moach shall try some different clouds although this is what ive done before and now i have 2 types of clouds the default kind and white fluffy ones. The white blocks pop up every now and then so trying to capture them isnt easy.

I got these for the first time last night!  I have all my settings maxed out, and I'd just installed the RF Spitfire so I assumed my PC couldn't generate the sky textures fast enough while drawing the detailed Spitfire as well.  The white blocks only lasted for a second, just like ground textures used to load slowly before I upgraded to a GB of RAM.  I'll try to get a screenie if it happens again.

I've had a similar issue that turned out to be evident during lightning storms.  This was after addon lightning textures were installed.  It never was much of a bother, however upon installing yet another set of lighting textures, the problem has since disappeared.
