Eugene Heyart has been working on a new version of his Turbo Otter, the Turbo Otter NG. On his website he said it will be released before christmas! Expect to see more rusts planes soon

That Otter 'NG' looks great! 300kts? oooooo! Love the swept wings and the new sound set sounds interesting, i'll be watching.

I love the idea of the Radial Engined Otter.
The old PW-R-1340 was a bit underpowered but a good engine.
I would hope the carb heat and everything will be looked at in this new model.
It would also be nice to see the aircraft DHC-3 (radial engined Otter) on amphibious floats and wheel/skis.

Well, originally he was going to release the Turbo NG and Radial together as a package called "Past and Future", But I guess he couldnt wait any longer with the NG.

Those craft he's working on are just beautiful! The exact two things I have been looking for- a work horse, solid otter and an exec supersonic jet.

Just released on avsim, should be out pretty soon on other sites (simv)
And it is WONDERFUL! Not only is the model good looking, it flies like a DREAM, sounds AMAZING! If deHavilland ever makes this for real, it will be the ULTIMATE bush plane. Takes off short, cruises at 220KIAS @ 10,000ft, range of 3500km, stops on a dime, just perfect! This is simply the best of all worlds, excellent in the bush, great for regular flying, and after about 10min, my favorite plane EVER!
