Problem with VC Lights....

For some unkown reason, the virtual cockpit lights in some aircrafts don't work right. I can turn them on, but they go out within a second. Turning the switch off, and back on again, does the same thing, although the lights in the 2d panel work just fine/

Why is this, and is there a fix to make the lights in the VC work properly?

Thats a "ms is wierd" thing.  For some reason, ms is programmeed (I think) so that if there is enough light outside, the vc light turns off automatically.

I believe the Jakemeister is correct. Try setting the time of day to either dusk or night and see what happens.

hmmm, i have that too, maybe M$ is weird but i find that if you have the MAX LIGHTS slider up to 8 that rarely happens...

the main reason for that problem is that FS can only render a certain number of light effects... if there are too many, what happens is exactly the problem at hand ::)

Thanks guys. I set the time to night and the lights seemed to work properly. On other aicrafts, the VC wasn't completely lit up, but i'll try Moach's tip.

Thanks again ;)

Ya know I have the same problem, but Esselbach beat me to the punch.

The ones with the problems, it doesn't matter what time of the night it is.

I'll give that a shot Moach, and if it works, I'll thank you in advance.   :-*
