FS9 crashing (fun topic huh?)

so yea  fs9 has been crashing when i get into the game   it seems random beause it will crash a few times no matter what aircraft i'm in    i am hopeing it is a simple prob and all help will be great.

it started after i downloaded some BAV aircraft  i have also started this thread on their website all help would be good

Usualy a driver issue. Make sure they're all up to date. Also, some complex aircraft can cause it to crash when loading so start the flight with something simple like a Cessna and then select the ACraft.

And then there's the swiss army knife of all FS9 advices.... as a last chance store your fs9.cfg file in a safe place, delete the original copy, start fs9 and reapply your application settings manually.

C2D (Crash to Desktop) is usually caused by the last FS9.1 addon installed. You are using FS9.1 of course? If not, that's the problem with FS9 scenery files.

my personal solution is uninstall the game and then reload it.

but remember to save your downloaded aircraft thst you want to keep.
