Hi,

I was fiddling around with the msfs setting, and changed the screen resolution. Now, when flight simulator loads all i have is a black screen. FS is still running because when i hit 'esc' i can hear the clicks. And i can still close it correctly.

Basically how do i change the display setting back to how they should be?

Many thanks,
Richard.

PS - When i click on start, microsoft games, fs9, there i could choose 'safe mode' or 'reset defaults.' Could this be the answer but then would i loose my setting & aircraft ect????

One solution to this problem would be to delete your fs9cfg file and let FS rebuild it.
If you do not know where your FS9 CFG file is at look at the sticky note at the top, or do a search for fs9.cfg just make sure to check show hidden files option in your folder options, otherwise you will not be able to see it. 8)

FS9.cfg location:

C:\Documents and settings>Owner>Application data>Microsoft>FS9>inside the 'FS9' folder.

Despite location postings here, it still took me awhile to find it, so maybe this will save you some searching time.  It's not in the main Sim folder.  Don't know anything about your FS problem, tho, sorry.
