Hi all this is just a quickie........
When real weather is loaded, how do you know what runway you are going to be assigned to, to land, i would like to know this so that i can plan my flight correctly, right from the start.
Thanks for reading
Andy

Generaly, the runway used is always the one into the wind. However, I usualy just wait until i'm given the runway name from ATC and then look up the ILS, etc.

You can tune to the airport's ATIS/AWOS/ASOS if it has one (most do). And get a good idea what runway you'll be assigned. Although ATC does.. at times, ignore prevailing winds when picking an active runway (one of the fixes I'd like to see in FS10)..

Yes they do, i've also noticed that they don't seem to know the difference between a normal airport and one with parrallel runways like Heathrow. Normaly, one is solely for taking off and one solely for landing but in FS9 you'll have them doing both on each one like a single RW airport. Still much to do at MS then but if it was perfect now, they wouldn't make any more money on new releases, would they?
