When im extending flaps, the normal sound plays, but once the flaps are extended, it still donres on with that sound. Its very annoying.
How do i fix it?

I believe there is a panel fix, but until then-

simply hit "q" twice.  This will toggle the sound off/on and will get rid of the looping audio.

Or remove the flaps sound all together as you normally can't hear them from the cockpit whith the engine(s) running anyway. ;)

All the time. ;) I'm taking lessons in a 172 and that was one thing that I noticed about the way things sound compared to the sim. You can't hear the motor noises as the flaps extend, but you can hear the wind rushing around them.

But you still hear a sound, weither it's the electric motor or the turbulent air.
In my PA28, I can "feel" the flap motor, kinda hard to describe, like small vibrations  ;D

I do the same thing...
My flaps are by default keyed to F6 and F7, so I just tap alternate keys to stop the sound...!
It's a funny fault. It often occurs quite randomly on the same aircraft..I don't know why.... :o...!
As Beefhole quotes, The sound seems to get caught in an endless loop for some reason...!

LOL...!

Cheers all...!

Paul... 8)...!

If you think about it, it is possible for that to happen in a real aircraft, like if something were wrong with the switch... I guess. :P
