There are downloads that will enable them to be flyable

You can also use AirEd to change the aircraft type. Change the value from a 2 to a 0, add a panel and sound, and it's flyable

Hi Lee......make it flyable by all means...as an excercise in adding panel and sound etc, but there are much better aircraft to download than this....commoner ;)

I really don't understand why would you lose your time with the default planes, and the planes you want to make flyable are even less detailed among their already poor peers.

Allow me to suggest you a pair of downloads

http://library.avsim.net/download.php?DLID=73259 for the Dash 8

http://library.avsim.net/download.php?DLID=53148 for the MD80

And if they are in a livery you don't like, try searching around. On the net, and freeware, there's a lot more and a lot better than the defult planes, just search. 8)
