FS 2004 weather

My question is.....in FS 2004 how can I make an overcast condition below me solid so I can't see through it to the ground. In FS2002 when you go through a overcast condition and look down  you cannot see the ground below. In FS2004 when you go through the overcast condition and break out on top, when you look down you can see the ground through a haze.  I want to make it solid below so I can't cheat.  I tried using some of the cloud textures from FS 2002 into FS2004 but it didn't make any difference. Anyone got any ideas?

The only way I've found to get decent overcast effects in 2004 is to reduce the visibility settings...you could also try adding several layers of overcast in one go, not sure if the latter would have the desired results though.

It depends on the angle of view...
With good cloud texture addons such as FSSky world and real weather in heavy cloud conditions you can get nice solid cloud layer below you and it looks solid in all directions except right below the plane,it means the layer looks nice and absolutely solid unless you look exactly in vertical direction-and it's restriction of fs engine-cause cloud is 2d texture, but since it is impossible to look in strictly vertical direction, sitting in the cockpit or cabin I dont think thats the serious problem...

Good cloud textures and appropriate weather condition is the key...IMHO
