hello again!  ::) ;D

Ive downloaded and installed the great morewatr.zip water textures package but I have one problem:

I can't seem to get any sun glare reflections off the surface of the water as shown in the preview shots. :'(

Do I need to alter any reflections or effects settings to make it work?

What times of day are best for surface shimmer and reflection?

Thanks! ;)

Make sure that you have special effects set to high ...... and water effects also in the FS9 graphics settings.

Best times of day are dawn and dusk.

Try using the clear sky preset, and then mod it, so that there are just a few clouds, otherwise the sim will load the "overcast" reflection file, and won

You can make a DX8 card have the reflective water, you need Software enabled shaders. These tax your system badly so only get them if your desperate

Set weather to user-defined, then set your clouds in the advanced settings.  Make sure they are no greater than 5/8 for the amount of clouds. This prevents FS loading the overcast water. ;)

Have you set weather as I did say above ? I had that problem, too. It only works with certain weather settings, because if there are some clouds, a different reflection map is used, which doesn
