Ok, is there an eiffel tower in fs 2004? what about ANYTHING recognizable in the Washington DC area? What about that big Jesus statue in Rio de Jeneiro? My scenery settings arent on minimal, or low. There are all kinds of buildings in these cities, but none are actual landmarks. Is there something wrong with my pc, do I have to set settings on high, or is all of this add on scenery? Any info is appreciated.

This is where Sim meets reality...try searching on Avsim for those specific scenery files...I am sure you'll find something

PS: There is an Eiffel Tower in FS9 by default

Micorsoft provided a good base for designers to build on. All you have to do is hunt them down and install them.

Fly around the middle of Paris...I know it's there because I have seen it and there have been many screens of our resident stuntman Ozzy (Mark) flying inverted thru it with god-knows what

You have to have the scenery seettings set pretty high to see a lot of the "details" available in the package. Microsoft does not mention that little fact in the marketing of the sim.
If your machine can't handle the features and keep sustainable, flyable framerates.... you have to turn them off in order to make it flyable. So a lot of what you "bought".... you can't use.
The minimum specs on the packaging re a joke. ::)
Try putting your settings up close to the maximum.... and take a look. The framerates my be bad, but you'll see more scenery features (assuming your graphics card is up to it).
best,
.....john

Any help? This is the default scenery at Dense settings on my very low-end PC. I have no addon scenery in this area.

Take off from Le Bourget (LFPB) & head about 230 degrees. You should see the Eiffel Tower straight ahead.

I have seen the statue of Jesus in Rio as well but I do have added scenery for that area and do not know if it is in the default scenery or not.
But as mentioned here you might have to turn up your sliders in order to see them.
