New Installation FS2004 - Tips Please!

Will be installing a new copy of FS2004 in the near future - any tips please.   Believe there is a patch to download from Microsoft??   Do I have to uninstall my FS2002 (I hope not as I have so much of it!).  With thanks, Dave.

FS2002 should be OK; not necessary to uninstall (I'm running both on separate drives).  There was a fix patch from MS which corrected a lot of missing bridges, install FS9 first, then look for the patch on MS site.  Depending on your computer specs, you might not get the same frame rates on FS9 as you do/did on FS2002.  There was a lot of talk about frame rate issues, look back to the earliest threads in this forum for help if you need it.
