How to ge rid off those 2d clouds ?

How do you get rid off those unsharp 2d clouds in the far distance ? They turn into nice clouds when I press Y for slewing, but for screens that

Put all your cloud settings on max (enjoy the framerate hit!!), and if you still see 2D clouds, reduce the visibility a little.

If I remember correctly from past threads, to not have strange and sometime cartoonish clouds in the distance while virtually flying, the only thing you should do is bring to 100% the "3D clouds" cursor in the graphics settings.
