Just curious...

Only two choices. This should clarify where we really stand on the issue. Personally I dont give a flying flip what aircraft come with it, but the core game simulation always has room for improvement.

Tacit,

Can you rephrase that to "better simulation engine"?

I guess. In my opinion, game is more of a generality for computer programs created just for fun, but I see your point. ;)

Better simulation engine...............with better simulated engines. I have never started a gas turbine that on start peaks at 85 to 95% and then settles down to and idle at about 60%. Try a start on any heavy and you will see what I mean. Also the mad nose dip on start, oh and the wild swing left or right if the brake is not applied. Also, tried to taxi on one engine after a full stop? Round in circles we go :-[

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

I shudder whenever the "G" word gets attached to Flight Sim....... I have nightmare visions of X-Box.

Oh no, not another x box hater I hope. John, you have to see what the new x box can run at.

This thing is going to kick some serious butt with its THREE processors running at 3.2 G EACH. That is way better than a bunch of new computers that you can order. The graphics, well its only doing 500 MZh with 512MB of memory, ONLY?

Ya ya ya, tv quality only, well you have me there, but I have a pretty nice flat screen.

I'm just hoping they spend some time on a good stimulator for it.

Tacit, sorry for bouncing your thread just a little off topic there.  :(

...tell you what....

I recently downloaded a Flight Sim from here...

Micro Flight.

http://hangsim.com/mf/index.php

And I was so impressed with the flight characteristics built into the aircraft that I quickly purchased the Simulator.
It was the nearest thing that I have experienced since flying the REAL aircraft in REAL life.... ;D...!
...Most realistic, including the buffeting and floating  that you experience when flying the real aircraft... 8)...!

Give the demo a try...see what you think... ;)...!
...the excitement will over-whelm you...
...trust me... ;)...!

LOL...!

Paul...!

P.S.  ....FS '98/2000/2002/2004 still a flippin' game tho', until you get into a REAL Cessna 152...
...that's when your opinion changes... ;)....
...a little bit... ;D...!
LOL...!

Yes, 43 is more than enough, but I was kind of hoping that this would put some of it to rest. I was hoping that this would get people to realize that it doesn't matter what A/C come with FS, because that's what 90% of these threads are about.
