need help fs2004 crash

this is a bit strange but on my old system i had 1Gb of ram pc3200 (2x 512) and all was running fine
then when i put 2x 1gb sticks in the fs2004 crash after seting up flight and 1 min into game.
now i have a new dell 8400 with p4 3.4 x850xt pe graphics and 2x512mb i have just purchased 2x 1gb sticks installed and it now is doing the same as before and crash 1 min into flight

not sure how 2 fix virus scan is ok and pc bug dr is ok too
can it be fsuipc or some thing else
would love coments and to find if problem is widespread
i need to fix this please please please help

Sounds like bad RAM chip might be a possibility?  

Are you putting it in the correct RAM slot?  Some boards require that you skip a slot.

You're sure your motherboard supports that much ram?

this is the second system and mother board that it has done this to.
i have just reinstaled fs2004 with 2 gig fitted and works fine now so not sure why it would start to play up on installing more memory
the rest of the computer worked fine just fs2004

Are you sure that your system can handle 1 GB chips? Maybe it would work fine with 4x512 chips.

Also, are the 2 chips of the same type (DDR1, DDR2) and speed?
