I didn't Knew

What was FS9,until 4 weeks ago,my brother bought about 6 moth ago a P4 3.4 with an FX video card,he's son visit me(BTW my brother is a Dr,and he's got a confortable life,he earn enough money)he's son(my nephew) came and visit me,he liked my Home made VC & FS9, so weeks later he call me very entusiasm,and invite me to go to his place,and ask me to take all my collection of  add-on freewares,.Well he bought it ,yeap the FS9 brand new box was on the desk,..i made a personal program  to install more than 300 planes,modules,you know to always leave my fs9 instalation like i would never erase my hdd,Big suprise what a terrific view :o,I had instaled the fswat reflec 2 the reflexion of the water :o I never see something like it,all my unuseless aircraft that doesnt work on my machine,like a340 works so great :o,the VC view without anyframe clouds landscape amazing, :o :o :o..I was so Impress and very dissapointed at the same time :'( that i didn't wanna play on my old P3-800 BTW i recenly change my video card from 64mb to 128 and no change at all,Im so fustrating,that recenly i don't even look my PC  :'( I though i was a matter of video memory,nope its procesing fact,QUESTION???how many of you feel or sense identified with this situation how many of you can't  afford a AMD Athlon 64 or Pentium 4 and leave this wonderful game,IMAGINE next year when next fs2006 come out and maybe will only work at 64 bits like many games my nephew showed me,BTW they came on DVD format...I wish to hear you Guys

I know how you feel Alrot. Been right there and although my computer isn't super I so much appreciate what I have compared with what I used to have. Can be very frustrating.

If you find it so bad you could really help yourself by turning off the clouds completely and fly with totally clear skies. You should find that it really improves FS.

Be proud Alrot. There arn't many of us left now who measure our processor speeds in Mhz. ;D

i share the same gripe about FS, i bought a 256mb video card a while ago and i made just about no difference at all to FS...

all my other games look amazing and run incredibly fast, exept.... :P :(

FS performance is all about CPU power.....
If nature wanted a man to fly - It would have given him more money

I think the front side buss and trhe RAM speed is just as important as the CPU clocks.
