Fly-by view in FS9

Postby microlight » Thu Sep 29, 2005 12:02 pm

To all of us who mourned the passing-into-payware of Active Camera with the coming of FS9, I was pleased to see an alternative to the freeware FSCamera (available here, I think). Called Fly By, it gives great external views of the plane fly-by (better than Active Camera maybe) although you have to manually set it for ground views on landing.

Problem is, it freezes my system completely after about 10 minutes' use - has anybody noticed the same thing with this add-on? It has two versions for FS9.0 and FS9.1 and I'm using the right one (9.1), so I'm stumped. Everything's fine when you uninstall it. All I can think is that it conflicts with FSNav, which I have installed also.

I've emailed the author, so I'll report back later...
