Huey Help

I downloaded a Ah1-f/S Cobra from Hovercontrol and I can't get her off the ground! The rotors are getting enough torque on start up to get her off the ground.

I tried giving it a little time to get up to speed, then fed it a little power to get full rotation. Once I saw that the main rotors had full spin on them, I tried to give it some more torque to get them to stay at full spin and the rotor blades started slowing down.

What am I doing wrong with this Huey?

You are not doing anything wrong. Like all helicopters, it is just trying to naturally screw itself into the ground ;D ;D

Bring up the Collective window and make sure the throttle is full open. (Ctrl+F4 for full open)

If your using a joy that has a rotary or slider control assigned to Prop Speed in fixed wing

Haha, yeah and don't forget to make sure you have your thrust reversers off as well! ;D  Kinda reminds me of when we would get new and inexperienced Marines on the tanks we would tell them not to traverse more that 3 times either way because they will either unscrew the turret or tighten it down too much!  Haha, suckers.
