Add on Scenery

Hi all,

I am new to MS 2004 - I have used X-Plane since version 5. My question is this:

When I load scenery to my add on folder and after a restart I go to the airfield the trees are just a large grey block. I have added Gerrish Trees and Nova Gold but maybe I put them in the wrong place, anyway it does not happen at every add on.

Any help would be greatly apprciated.

In anticipation

That doesnt cover the tree library Mark. I wasn't going to get involved in this as I've forgotten the details now. All I can tell you is that you need the correct version of the library, I think it's Version 3 but can't be sure. Follow the installation & activation instructions included with the download carefully.

If you still have problems post again & I'll try & refresh my memory.

Thank you both, I have ver. 3 of Gerrish trees installed as per instructions but still have the grey blocks. Would it be advisable to take out all sceneries that I have added and reinstall them again? and leave out the ones that don't work.

The reason is that I loaded Tangmere and it was fine but when I installed Gerrish's Trees version 3 and installed St. Mary's I got the grey blocks in both add on sceneries.

Very confusing!

Hmmm. I can only help by trying this myself. Tell me the exact pages these files are posted on so I can download them. I won't promise but I'll see if I can figure it out.

PS. Just a thought. Go to the Scenery Library & make sure the trees are listed below the others. If not you can rearrange them.

Thanks for advice, it worked with Tangemere so I will leave it at that as it's not that important at the moment - still trying to get used to MS2004 - thanks again for your help much appriciated.
