What parameter (number) in the contact points section adjusts the hight of the wheels off the ground? I just downloaded the POSKY 757-200 and the wheels are below ground level alittle bit.

...just to add...dave has only highlighted the NOSE wheel.....the two underneath that are the main wheels. Might seem obvious but just thought I'd mention it.....commoner

Here is my Contact points section: When I change the values you mentioned, the aircraft start flipping on the ground and would crash??

_________________________

[contact_points]
point.0= 1.000, 60.167, 0.000, -10,000 (changed this to -11.000), 1181.102, 0.000, 2.188, 73.320, 0.239, 2.500, 1.933, 4.000, 4.000, 0.000, 0.000, 0.000

point.1= 1.000, -1.667, -14.000, -12.083 (changed this to -12.000), 1574.803, 1.000, 2.188, 0.000, 1.972, 2.500, 0.498, 6.900, 6.900, 2.000, 0.000, 0.000

point.2= 1.000, -1.667, 14.000, -12.083 (changed this to -12.000), 1574.803, 2.000, 2.188, 0.000, 1.972, 2.500, 0.498, 7.100, 7.100, 3.000, 0.000, 0.000

All the changes shown had adverse effects. Did I change them the right way? Before these changes the aircraft sat about two feet below the surface of the runway.

From a quick peek it seems to me that you've raised the nose & lowered the main gear. Increasing the negative values raises the aircraft which is what I gather you want to do. Assuming the aircraft sits at the correct angle try changing the values gradually by the same amount. Raising all 3 gear points by I foot (increase the value by -1.000) makes the main gear height -13.083 instead of -12.000 as in your example. Leaving the nose gear as it is (-11.000) will raise the complete aircraft by 1 foot instead of changing the static pitch which I suspect is causing the juddering in your case. If you need to do that it gets a tad more complicated. It might take a little experimenting before you get it just right.

This might also depend on which airport/runway you're using as the altitude can vary. I always do this sort of thing at a default airport where I know everything is OK.

BINGO!! Got it!!
Increasing it by 1.000 seems to do the trick. The tires are all properly on the ground.

Thanks for your help.
