The default airlines are generally considered to be fictional, but are they?
The names certainly are, but I believe that they are based on real airlines
Ever noticed the similarity between Pacifica and Maersk Air?

http://www.airliners.net/open.file/684158/L/ I'm still looking for the others, has anyone noticed any?

Yes, I have noticed that as well, but haven't seen it for any others.

I saw a livery that reminded me of World Travel, but I can't remember what it was. Yeah, its a simple pain-job, but the text was in the right place and everything. Just wish i could remember where I saw it, and what it was.

The World Travel Airlines look like the old TWA colors to me.

if you look, even the soar letting is the same font as braniff.
i've yet to see anything that looks like landmark, too bad, it's good liveries.

Not sure which one it is as I've removed the default airlines, but there is a green one with L-shaped stripes on the vertical stab - the 777 and MD-80 featured this scheme. It looks sorta like a cross between Lauda and Alitalia.

The different tails are like BA's idea, but the actual colours are completly different.
