Hi!

I have Top Gun Tomcats by Dean Mountford. Very nice package, but i would like to change the stress tolerance of the model. Currently it starts to break apart at somewhere between +3 to +5 Gs and i'd like it to take +9 Gs. Can someone tell me what files i need to modify so it can take more Gs, i've already checked the aircraft.cfg, but couldn't find lines that relates overstressing.

Pen:

Get Aired 1.52. (It's freeware; google it. :) )

Once it's up and running; open the .air file of the aircraft you want to adjust.

Look for the 'Primary Aerodynamics' heading (line 1101)and open it.

Scroll down until you see "G Limits"

There are two sets of numbers for positive/negative G - they correspond to clean and with flaps. The values roughly equal the maximum G the aircraft can take before it takes damage. It's not exact; there are other factors involved but if you want a 9-G breaking point; set the 1st positive value to 9000 - it'll be close. :)

Hope this helps!
