Hit the brakes, extend spoilers, lower flaps. Basically anything that can produce drag.

Some planes don't have reverse thrust in real life; like the Avrojets, the RJ-85 and RJ-100. This is mirrored in the models I have, which you have to stop with brakes, flaps and spoilers.

Normal landing speed.

Normal landing speed. You can stop a plane easily without reverse thrust.
That speed usually depends on the type of aircraft, the payload, amount of fuel etc etc. In FS when flying heavies, I try my best to keep the plane alligned with the runway, monitor the weather, and try to maintain the airspeed. You can set the AP to ILS apporaches, but I like more hand's on approaches as I find it easier...

Ashar

thanx mat
it must be great to know how these things work - ill try to get it right
i dont suppose you know how to cure my fave plane crashing the program
love that laid back harley feel of Lockheeds T-33A T-Bird Jet Trainer
but anything besides flying and the program crashes - reset - end flight etc
can it be fixed - or - maybe someone knows of a glich free version
thanx
rob

Just make sure you make a backup of your FS9.cfg first just in case.
Just tried the T-33A and everything works fine for me. It's a slightly complex install however so that's probably the first place to look.
Check the Readme that comes with the airplane. One paragraph warns of crashes if not installed correctly. That might be your problem.
In particular check this:Copy the GaugeSound.dll file into your FS Main Folder. Easygauge 2.0, what I used to make gau's, says this file is needed. If you already have one of my later planes, you most likely have this file already installed.
SIM WILL CRASH IF NOT INSTALLED!
