When it doesn't work, (eg. you hit it and you can still only move one throttle) is there any other way to resynchronise the throttles other than reloading the plane?
I know how to do it properly, but about 25% of the time it just doesn't work. Thanks guys.

I've always experienced the same problem Beefy, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I'm beginning to think its purely down to luck!

You first hit E
Then, after releasing E, you quickly hit 1 or 2 for individual engine control.
For syncronized control, hit both numbers at the same time after releasing E
I hope that made things clear.

I assigned a button on my joystick (Saitek X-45). That seems to get it almost 100% of the time.

Katahu, I tried to make it very clear in my first post that I know how to do it-it doesn't always work.
Good to hear I'm not the only one Charlie

Great idea Matt, I'll try it out

This is a very common problem, and is usually caused by a badly programmed gauge.
This problem also appears as failing to open a second exit (Shift-E 2) or no turning after a pushback (Shift-P 1/2).
If you download my archive rcbse-10.zip from avsim.com or flightsim.com: this gives a full description of the 'why', and provides a small gauge that you can add to a panel.cfg to work around this problem.
