I hear Aerosoft's A-10 is very nice but I've heard it needs a really stout machine to run it.

AlphaSim's A-10 is now freeware. It's pretty nice and there are some AI flight plans out there that are very cool too.

I thought the 'Dash' series of aircraft were produced by DeHavilland?

Just tonight I flew a short hop in a DeHavilland Dash-80.

First time on VATSIM I might add  :D

For the A-10 , a search reveals there are 2 in the 2004 Mil. library.

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.

ALROT,

The Boeing 707 prototype was designed and built using the internal designation of Model 367-80.  That's where the "Dash 80" comes from.

The Historic Jetliners Group recently released a superb model of the Dash 80.  If I did this right, you can find it at  http://81.208.92.5/hjg/airlines/b/boeing.htm.

I don't remember for sure, but you may have to alias a 707 panel and sounds.

Hope this helps you out.

Regards,
JerryH
