If the scenery is composed of several .bgl files, you can try removing them one by one to weed-out the ones you consider less important (of course keep a backup folder with all the originals somewhere).  If everything is in one large .bgl file then you are most probably sol.

also, what i've noticed improves framerates is the priority of the scenery you are loading. check your scenery library, is your selected area high up on the list? if not, bump it up. this goes espically for addon scenery, it was at the bottom of my list and i wondered why it wasnt showing up. after i moved it to #1 priority, everything i want shows up. hope this is somehelp as well.

Hello Alrot,
Hope all is well  ;D

If it makes you feel any better, I even have a frame rate hit with this add on.  >:(

It all comes down to the designer. For example. Fly Tampa's payware scenery airports have TONS of objects and things going on. Yet there is basically ZERO impact on frame rates.

The St. Marteen add on has a small fraction of what I described above yet it is a frame rate hog, even on my machine.  :P

Like I said, it all comes down to how much time and knowledge is put into the product. Did the designer mipmap every object? That is certainly something that will effect frame rates. But who really has the time to go through 7mbs of data  ;)

In short, it is a real nice add on in terms of eye candy but needs allot of improvement in terms of being a frame rate eater.
