Bumpy at Philly

Postby microlight » Mon Aug 08, 2005 5:12 am

Just landed my BA 777 at Philly International for the first time in FS9, taxied to Terminal A - to find that it's completely not there! The rest of the terminal buildings are there (more or less) but no sign of Terminal A. Also, some of the taxiways are very lumpy, almost like they're not concrete. Anybody else noticed this?

Yes, just like in FS8, we have missing buildings and all. The default Dubai Intl. is trash compared to the real thing. I bought Fly-Tampa's Dubai just for that reason. The taxi way being bumpy is also a very common thing in FS. The textures show a taxiway, but there is in fact no taxiway there and the plane bounces along as if it's on dry land and not the tarmac....
Cheers,

I fly in and out of philly all the time, my hometown, and have never been able to find a fix for that terminal online ::) (or a working one at least)

As for the lumpy taxiways, those aren't always a problem with the actual taxiways as it is with your plane jumping up and down-it happens every now and then.  I've never had a problem with the taxiways there.

Hmm. Thanks. Perhaps I'll have to get busy with FSSC or something like that....
