DC-3 tail wheel lock
Posted: Fri Aug 05, 2005 4:25 pmCan someone tell me when it is locked or unlocked. On the throttle quadrant it says "pull" but the lever goes up and down. Which setting is which.

Posted: Sat Aug 06, 2005 7:47 amBest advice . . . turn ON cockpit tooltips to learn about everything that is operational in the cockpit. When you place your mouse cursor over the tailwheel knob it will read ON or OFF :)

So 'pulling' it would mean that it is in the down position... it should be locked when it is in the down position.
