I have a strange issue with the David Maltby's Comet it show without landing gear on the ground(like if would be an old model from fs2002*.mdl)I follow its instruccions step by step,besides it says its for FS9 only
and even has many repaints here let me show you some from a long list

Please I need a hand here,the FPSUIT module has nothing to do with it HELP::S:O:S

I suspect the base model linked to from those files is actually an earlier FS2002 version of David Maltby's Comet 4C updated for FS9.
http://www.simviation.com/fs2004jets23.htmFS2004 deHavilland DH-106 Comet - Dan Air London and Olympic Airways liveries. First jet airliner ever made Update to FS2002: Bracken Dawson and to FS2004: Alejandro Villa Panel:Maximo Verrascina Artwork by Francisco Romero Cajal. Slightly modified for 2004 by Alejandro Villa FS2000 aircraft: David Maltby August 2003 Graphical Textures,& Sound by John Gardner. Original Model & Animation by David Maltby. Two models included Dan Air London and Olympic Full lights and smoke. Dynamics and full adaptation for fs2004 by Alejandro Villa. 6.8MB
In this case it would not be fully FS9 compatible, hence the gear not displaying.
It's possible this model has since been completely updated in FSDS2 or Gmax. You might like to try the author's own site here.
http://www.dmflightsim.co.uk/dh106_comet.htmNote the difference in file size. I haven't tried any of these files myself & it's possible the repaints aren't compatible with one or other versions.

The worth thing is that is the only model available and i like this plane in particulary,i looks very aerodinamics with the engines hiden inside the wings,

what nobody like was the shape of the passenger's windows wich was the cause of many of its accidents....

Did you try the files from my link? Looks like there's quite a few variations included without bothering with repaints.
PS. The later model Comets all had oval windows.

Hi Alrot. I haven't downloaded any FS9 files for months. Lost touch with all this now & I was never interested in airliners. I'm not the best person to recommend anything.

Alrot...I downloaded that comet model direct from David Maltby's site, along with the extra textures for it, and it works fine, no problems at all...I would recomend going that route.

...you could try editing the [FrameCallNoWarn] section of the Fs9.cfg file.........there should be a list of aircraft like this....
[FrameCallNoWarn]
Mistral=1
Cessna 152=1
E-3=1
NIMROD=1
Look for Your plane with no legs (Comet?)and if it says =0 then change it to =1 as in the above sample.....commoner

Commoner. I would only use that as a last resort if a proper FS9 version of the aircraft is not available. The latest version of the Comet is intended for FS9 Only. Check out the FAQ page on David Maltby's site.
http://www.dmflightsim.co.uk/faq.htmQ: Can I use the models in FS2002?
A: All the models are now made for FS2004 only & I do not test them at all in FS2002.
They can be used in FS2002, visually they are fine, but the flight dynamics will not behave properly. There are some other minor issues with the panels in FS2002.
Q: Why don't your models have virtual cockpits?
A: I don't like them much & could never make one that would be good enough. I don't see VC's as being suitable for airliner models, there are too many instruments to keep an eye on & airliner complexity makes any VC very demanding on a PC's resources. For me, 2D panels are far superior for airliner models, while the VC is better suited to less complex aircraft that don't rely on instrumentation too much.

By all means inform Pete about this but it's not bad or defective, simply an early FS9 model posted soon after FS9 was released. Many of the aircraft posted on the first pages of any section will be much the same.

...Hagar has it right there Alrot and sometimes IF there is no "proper" alternative as he says, you can get away with using the well known fix that I posted .........commoner

Why not try it on the one you have trouble with just to see the effect......you might just learn something that would help you in the future
