probably a dumb question, but how does one make an aircraft texture sharper, within the limits of a particular video card.... if at all possible? .....also,any improvements i could make which would really make a difference??

One thing you could try, open up your textures with DXTbmp.

Also check in fs9 settings display hardware and make sure the globle texture slider is set to massive
