"Langoliers" was creepy. But Jakemaster's problem does look similar. He should watch out for small flying mouths!

TV Movies = Sucky Cheesy
It would have been much better as a motion picture.
On the issue at hand move your display settings to medium low and see if it works better.

Okay, back on topic. I can wait as long as I want, it won't help. And it's not the settings, theyre pretty low as is. I just have to restart the computer.

i don't have any paper work to back this up but it could be due to fack you only have 512MB of ram. I only had 512 and had al sorts of problems. also it could be the intergrated graphics. I never had any luck with those.
btw, is your machine an emachines. the specs you give sound like one of the models they have out right now.
anyway, i would try more ram and see if that helps. either way, more ram is better anyway.

Time to upgrade your video card...get a real card and you will not have any more problems..really.
See you are dedicating 64-128MBs of your 512MB of RAM to the video card...and everyone knows that On-board video just is not for gaming.
I am amazed you can even load fs9 with onboard!

Jake, I've read all the answers in this thread, and so far I don't see a solution. I frame rate lock at 20fps and have never had that problem. My comp started out with integrated graphics, I never had that problem. Although I know everyone posting in this thread is well intentioned, but Seek out Hagar here on SimV, he will help or direct you to your solution. Good luck, I can appreciate how annoying it must be for you....Clipper :)
