Has anyone experienced this?

Postby Selbio » Sun Jul 24, 2005 4:59 pm

Well it seems like every time I save a flight and make it my default flight and restart the simulator I'm at KSEA with M$ Cessna.
I already reinstalled FS9 and deleted all registry entries and still have the same problem. Anyone experienced this? Is there a solution to this?

Thanks in Advance
Best Regards,
Selby

See if your files are in 'My Documents\Flight Simulator Files' directory.

Save the flight with 'make... default'.

The next time in the Select Flight screen, select the flight and tic the 'Make.....Default..' box before hitting 'flynow'.

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.

Dave,

I've tried all that and still no luck.

I remember the last time this happened I reinstalled FS and that was the cure but this time I tried that and other things and still no luck.

Is there a way to manually edit the FS9.cfg and add a line there to take care of this?

Hi Selbio,

It happened to me too some time ago. I found a solution for it. Safe your flight. Find it in the files. Rename it Fltsim. Transfer it to Program Files --> FS9 --> Flights --> Other. Replace existing file. Next time you start FS9 your own default flight should start. Downside to this is that you loose the default flight that comes standard with FS9.

Good luck,

Crash ;)
