FS9 Folder.

Some of you may remember my FS9 was failing to start after attempting several fixes there was still no progress, so I decided to do a complete reinstall.

I uninstalled FS9 on Friday and since then I've been attempting to delete the default FS9 folder on my C drive. The problem is that it won't delete as one of the files in the Aircraft folder  refuses to be deleted and comes up with an error message saying that its stuck in a cycle. The hard drive  gets into the same loop as it was when FS9 was attempting to start... ergo I suspect that the same file was causing the hang at FS9 startup.

I've tried deleting the FS9 folder from safe mode and I get the same error message .......... anyone have any bright ideas about how to get rid, so I can make a Clean install?

What's the file name of this obstinate little so & so?

Instead of deleting the folder try renaming it. Any name will do.

Try moving it to "My Documents" then delete it.

I don't think is so easy for some reason "perhaps"the fs9 file wich fs9.cfg is included is loading something into the memory ddr or dimm thats a conflict, run as safety mode(hit f8 after restart the pc )and without controlers loaded delete the file

I've renamed the FS9 file ........ Still cant move it or delete it ..... but at least a new install will create another one.
