please help me

please help me

ive had my fs9 for a while now and for some reason it wont start at all, i have disk4 in like it asks for, but nothing happens at all, i cant get on to my fs9 at all, will not load, ive never had this problem before today, ive un instulted, iam useing windows xp, i even used there restore that didnt work, can any one help me please, thankyou Marc

Try deleting the fs9.cfg file (I think there are instructions on how to do this in the FAQ at the top of this board).

By deleting the fs9.cfg file, what does this do.

The kFS9 cfg file sometimes get messed up for what ever reason, by deleting it and then restarting FS9, the cfg file will be rebuilt and hopfully this will clear up you problem.

Been there; done that. Went through hell, reinstalling, etc. Deleting 'FS9.CFG' did the trick. Check out the how-to in the FAQs section.
And don't worry, it gets rewritten when you start the sim.
