Hi there,
before I start to search through my button configurations..
a short question. Is it possible to make a fueldump in FS ?
Not just an aircraft effect but really loosing fuel ?
Is there a hotkey for that ?

Thanks

Not that I know.

There are payware that allow for fueldump from the panel (though I don't know about graphical effects on the outside), but FS9 doesn't.

If you really need to make your plane lighter, you can do it in the menu for fuel and payload on the fly (not with the Concorde, I really suggest you don't), but that's it.

Heya Sam,

Before flight, I will usually go to the FS 2004 Menu>Aircraft>Fuel and Payload and set the fuel percentage of the aircraft according to the distance that I am going to fly.  My usual formula is [Total Round Trip mileage] divided by [Aircraft total range] multiplied by 1.2 [plus 20%].  This is the way that I determine fuel during preflight.  I know that they do this differently in the real world.

Go look for dsd_fuel_dump.zip at Avsim. Inserted into your panel.cfg, it does exactly what you want.
