you can put thze 4 cds on the DVD but the auto installation won't work:

You'll have to unzip all the  files of the game properly and create the enters in the register. Enjoy it ! ;D

...mm....Not sure why it is a problem as it would most certainly take longer to install from a DVD than to put in the four CDs and auto install.....lol.. sounds like it is a regular feature of yours then this reinstalling, is there some reason for this?

....You don't HAVE to have the #4 CD in the drive either if you get the "No CD fix"..........commoner ;)

im currently testing pc parts, new hard drives, mobo's, cpu's, graphic cards full time, and i use FS2004 amongst other games and apps to test certain parts of the systems, so its useful for a fresh install of fs2004, just find it a bit of a chore sticking in 4cds all the time.

that makes me think that most probably FS2006 will be released in DVD format, instaed of the expected 6+ cd's ;D

GTA: San Andreas is out on DVD, so it's been done before

FS2006? I don't think so. Perhaps M$ is sick of even numbers and now want to switch to odd. FS2007...

(NB: Its just a speculation.) ;D

What's the big deal,i even place all the downloaded planes,direcx9c all the stuff ,there's enough space inside of DVD-R is 4.7gb wich after tryin to fill it i just got to 3gb still 1.7 left, there's a risk you have to recorded at 8x or slower if you recorded fast data things like *.cab tiny things may not get recorded well because this devices are developed for most *.mpeg home movies, and I think is Absurd that fs 2006 will come in a device developed for a dvd  home made movies.

You could try creating folders cd1, cd2 etc and copy the contents of each cd into the appropriate folder then onto a dvd. It worked once with office on about 15 floppies onto a cd and it worked fine except for the autorun
