Ok, I hope that this is the right forum to post this in...

I'd love to have some good addons to spice up FS2004, not specific aircraft but scenery, texture packs etc. is there any specific ones that are good? Specifically I would like new and good lookign water textures and anyhting like that.

Heya Colonel_MOORE,

Another beautiful piece of freeware scenery is the LIRF 2005 Project available at Flightsim.  Scenery of Roma Fiumicini "Leonardo da Vinci" Airport in Rome, Italy. By Alessandro Savarese and Alessandro Simonato (ISD Project).

If you like to fly big jets into large airports then you can't do without the excellent Los Angeles International Airport (KLAX) Scenery by Bill Melichar available here:

http://www.simviation.com/fs2004scenery46.htm

I also created a special folder called Mesh in my FS 9 Addon Scenery folder and downloaded many of the 70m Global Terrain Meshes available here at SimV:

http://www.simviation.com/fsdterrainsrtm.htm

These meshes greatly enhance the FS 9 default scenery (and as far as I know they don't cause a framerate hit).

Also take a look at the Waterzone Scenery available here:

http://www.simviation.com/fs2004scenery11.htm

There are too many outstanding sceneries available for FS 9 to list available here at SimV.  Go wild!
